PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT#1:: 
the pleated polka dot is now {THE LOVELY WORDS}.

i have had a love affair with words since i could fit under my mama's coffee table. it was there that i would write and illustrate stories on end to share with those around me. little did i know that even then i was preparing for this place and time of pouring out.

"if i have a hope, it's that god sat over the dark nothing and wrote you and me, specifically, into the story, and put us in with the sunset and the rainstorm as though to say, enjoy your place in my story. the beauty of it means you matter, and you can create within it even as i have created you."

in this space you will find my story intertwined with His. my journey of motherhood and practicing the way of jesus in the every day moments. it only seemed fitting to change the name to something more in line with my hearts purpose- to share lovely words of encouragement with those i encounter. i hope you will be blessed and in turn, do the same.
